Preparing for Veterinary Surgery

We always want to be sure your pet is healthy enough for surgery. Before the procedure, we will perform a full exam and pre-anesthesia blood work. As long as everything looks good, we can move ahead with the procedure. Please follow any directions from the veterinary team on the day of the surgery to make sure it goes as smoothly as possible.

During the Surgery

Our team monitors your pet before, during, and after surgery to ensure they are responding well. We keep a close eye on vital signs like heart rate and oxygen levels. If pain management is required after the procedure, we will administer it as needed. As soon as possible, we will update you about how the procedure went, and give you detailed care instructions to help facilitate the healing process. Please feel free to ask questions at any time.
